Roof and Attic Insulation

We'll ensure you have the best system for your home

When you insulate buildings with the optimal system locking in heat and stopping air movement inwards, the results are significant.

The three main types of attic insulation are rolled attic insulation, pumped cellulose and spray foam insulation.

Rolled Attic Insulation

This is where we use rolls of wool for insulation. It is the more traditional method used for attics in particular.

The density of the insulation will determine how well it performs, and for how long.

Pumped Cellulose

Pumped wool or cellulose insulation is a process where we pump the material in, eradicating air pockets and getting into all those hard-to-reach places.

We protect all ventilation electric cables and water tanks and ensure the best results.

Spray Foam Insulation

This system is both a thermal and airtight layer and completely protects the house from the cold.

This is the optimal insulation system. It prevents cold air getting in through walls and floors, out through sockets and switches, the most common reason for homes cooling down quickly.

Your BER Survey will help us decide the best system for you

When we survey your home we will let you know which of these attic insulation systems best suits your home and also let you know how much of a difference it will make.

Internal & External Wall Insulation

Insulating your interior walls.
This can reduce the rate of heat transferring from room to room as well as heat escaping your home. This will help to reduce heating bills and improve your home's energy efficiency.
Insulating your exterior walls.
Insulation on exterior walls puts a blanket-like barrier between your home and the outside. Insulating your walls will restrict air movement into the house, enabling you to save on heating bills.

External Wall Insulation

External or ‘solid’ wall insulation is the most cost effective and comprehensive way of insulating your home against the Irish winter.

Just like wrapping your house in a blanket, this type of insulation is fixed to the exterior of your house.
Once your exterior wall insulation is in place, it allows your walls to retain heat better, so when your heating is off, the walls continue to heat the home, resulting in a more even temperature and reducing the possibility of dampness coming through the walls.

It also renews the outside of your home, improving appearance and, depending on the finish used, provides increased weather protection. Best of all, there’s minimal disruption to your daily life.

External wall insulation is available with a variety of finishes and colours, allowing you to improve the overall look of your home.

Internal Walls Insulation

Insulating your internal walls is very effective in increasing your homes energy efficiency.

Up to 40% of heat loss in a home is through internal walls.
Cavity wall insulation includes filling the block cavity with certified pumped bead insulation. By eliminating areas of missing insulation and air gaps you will:

• Improve heat retention
• Save on home heating bills
• Help to improve BER
• You can access SEAI grants available
• Comply with NZEB regulation

What is Cavity Wall Insulation?
Small polystyrene droplets are mixed with a glue and pumped into the cavity between the inner and outer walls of the house. These polystyrene beads stick together, and they form an insulation layer that fills the entire width of the cavity.

Why choose Cavity Wall Insulation?
  • It is the most cost-effective method for insulating houses with a cavity wall construction.
  • Little or no disruption caused to the interior of your home
  • Reduces heat loss through the walls
  • Save money on your heating bills
  • Improves the comfort of your home
  • Prevents dampness and mould occurring in your home.
  • There are grants available to go towards the cost

Insulate Windows & Doors

Reduce your thermal footprint

As part of a Home Energy Upgrade, you should investigate the benefits of replacing your windows and doors.

Energy efficient windows and doors insulate your home, eliminating overall uneven heating & cooling throughout your home.

Home Ventilation Systems

Home ventilation usually refers to the removal of air and new fresh air from outside replacing it.

Ventilation removes stale air, ensuring your home feels fresh and comfortable, as well as helping to remove moist air that can lead to issues such as condensation and damp.
